While attending Iowa State, Jerad sought out valuable
work experience through internships. Spending one summer
in Chicago working as an Assistant Project Engineer
on the Renovative Reuse of Soldier Field project. Jerad
got his feet wet with the mechanical industry and decided
to take the plunge and go into mechanical systems.
The following two years Jerad spent his summers on the
East Coast working as an Assistant Project Engineer
for a biopharmaceutical systems specialist. Jerad gained
valuable experience on projects such as Massachusetts
Biologicals in Boston, MA, Human Genome Sciences in
Rockville, MD, and IMCLONE Pharmaceuticals in Branchburg,
NJ.
Upon graduation he continued his
relationship with the high purity piping industry by
going to work on the Coors Brewery Project in Elkton,
VA as a Project Engineer. Fortunately for Modern Piping,
this served as the final leg of his East Coast journey,
bringing him back to Iowa where he belongs. Although
Jerad has not been out of school long, his desire to
learn and contribute to the industry has put him on
the fast-track to success. This young, energetic Project
Manager has a bright future ahead, with the ability
and determination to handle anything that is thrown
his way.
